In Dec. 2010 in front of his service station on mall godown road, he saw a woman in worst condition and decided to send her to any safe/secure place. Someone suggested him about home Amritsar. In order to send her to this home he visited the police stations and contacted many high authorities. But the destitutes legal action could not completed and Lady died.
After the incident, with some partners he went to All India disables’ charitable society Punjab. Having inspired from the service of Dr. Interjit Kaur, he decided to start the same service in Sirsa. He as tried to locate the suitable place/site. During that one of the service partners S. Gursharan Singh donated the plot of 200 yards. He bought 400 yards land and started the construction.
who are residing in the shelter home, run and maintained by the Bhai Kanhaiya Ashram, Further, the District Administration and other respective departments, under which the trust is being registered are checking the working of Ashram/trust and the activities of the trust has been found more than satisfactory and also being appreciated by various authorities including the Justice of Punjab and Haryana High Court and the Chief Minister of Haryana Sh. Manohar Lal Khattar.
